Pinkie Tallies the Votes!

So the tallies are finally tallied!

Man, I got a lot of feedback from you guys! I was putting data in excel for hours. Because that's how long it took... Multiple... hours.

Anyway like Pinkie said, I'm sorry if your vote didn't get counted. I had a particular method to counting votes, and of course I couldn't count every vote that was posted. Here's what my methods were:

If I got a notification for it on DA (or an email), I counted your vote. That means if you posted your vote in a comment thread within a comment, it wasn't counted, because I didn't get a notification for it.

If your vote was from another show, or other medium (books, games, etc) I couldn't count your vote, because I stated in the rules- ONLY MLP. However, I will note that I counted votes for ponies and other characters from non-Friendship is Magic iterations of My Little Pony. It gave me an excuse to look up some characters I'm not as familiar with.

If your vote was an OC pony (well known or otherwise), I couldn't count it. I felt bad rejecting all the Nyx and Littlepip votes (and there were quite a few), but I want to keep this contest in-universe.

If you put multiple characters in a single comment, I counted your vote for one of them, meaning I picked randomly out of your list of characters. I tried not to be biased and picked based more on who would be better fitted for the comic. Exceptions to this include "The CMC" or "The Flim Flam Bros" or "The Cake Twins" or some variation. I also lumped in a few really really close (Pinkamina, stallion versions of the mane 6) votes in with existing votes, just so those could get counted easier.
