As you may or may not have noticed, my page becomes rather quiet in the off-season, and last time I was all fine and dandy with that because we had a huge, half-year long break to wait through. I had a lot going on so I was okay with a hiatus. We're just about three months into the new year at this point, and things have changed up in my schedule. I have a lot more time to dedicate to doodling on my tablet, AND I'm hoping to make a career out of it one day. So this means I'm outputting a lot more art (I hate calling it art. Seems too easy for art. I'mma keep calling them doodles) and I'm proud of most of it.
Now, here's the catch. I don't draw ponies as often as I used to. Especially in the off-season. My focus has been on human bodies as of late (delicious!). So I've been practicing anatomy, pose, and developing my own style. Its a trial-and-error learning process, and I'm teaching myself, so its nowhere near a professional level yet, but I would still like to share my doodles with my 2000+ DeviantART watchers!
I'm trying to be considerate enough to ask you guys if you want me to post non-pony doodles up here, because the reason you guys are watching me is for my weekly Pinkie Pie strip. If people start getting spammed with my non-pony stuff, they might up and leave, and unwatch my stuff. That's no good for either party.
So should I post my non-pony stuff on here? If I get more than a few "Yes"es then I'll gladly start posting up some of my more time-sink-ey doodles up here (my sketch doodles I'll post in the journal). If I get a bunch of "no"s, then I'll nut up and shut up. And continue the hiatus.
Here's a few examples of what I'm talking about when I say non-pony stuff:
There's waaaay more where those came from if you'd like!
